Foreign Liquors

The finest raw materials are carefully selected and imported to manufacture these foreign liquors. We have a range of eight varieties, namely Seven Star Brandy, Five Star Brandy, Dry Gin, Lemon Gin, Rosaween Coffee Liqueur, Rusalka Vodka, Sundown Rum and Red Velvet Coconut Whiskey.

Our foreign liquors have proved very popular in the hospitality trade. Five star hotels and holiday resorts stock these liquors because of their high quality and reasonable prices compared to the imported varieties.

A concentrated Cognac extracted from the highest quality grapes grown in France is used in making Mendis 7 Star Brandy.

The finest quality raw materials from the Netherlands is used for the production of Mendis Sundown Rum, Rusalka Vodka and Mendis Dry Gin. Mendis Lemon Gin entered the market in 2005.  The Rum can be served with coke and the Vodka can be served with tomoto juice commonly known as Bloody Mary.

Finally, local and imported ingredients are used in the manufacture of Rosaween Coffee Liqueur.  This is an after dinner liqueur and is popular among the Sri Lankan women.  It is also used in the production of cakes and puddings.
